Veteran “JUNK” Tank Build (Dragon Knight)

The Purpose:

Since the 1.7 update dropped, the relationship our Dragonknight tank has with Stamina has been forever changed. To mitigate this we obviously buff our base Stamina pool to epic proportions. We're also taking advantage of the light and medium armor passives. The big change however comes with how we manage our reduced Magicka and Magicka Recovery stats. We’re grabbing the Atronach as our Mundus Stone, dropping the Death’s wind set - in favor of the Seducer – AND equipping two rings of the Sanctuary set. While Death’s Wind provided us with Health and Physical resistance – the addition of 2 rings of the Sanctuary set makes up ½ the Health maximum loss while increasing our Magicka and Magicka Recovery stats. However, the big shift is the addition of the Seducer set – we’re taking advantage of the bonuses to Magicka and Magicka Recovery as well as that 8% reduction to Magicka costs with all 5 slotted!

The real specificity of this build comes down to on which bar we have 5 pieces of Hist Bark slotted and on which we have 5 pieces of the Seducer.

As you can see you’re crafting two swords and two shields, so this allows us to utilize the 5-piece set-bonuses on each bar depending on the situation. Equip your Seducer Sword on the Backup bar since that 8% Magicka reduction cost bonus will go furthest here (All of the 5 slotted abilities use Magicka.) On your Main bar, equip your Hist Bark Sword – all these abilities require you to be up-close and personal tanking enemies in the fray and that 20% evasion bonus when blocking will be most utilized here. By using both set bonuses pragmatically, you get the best of both worlds. Now go out and be a TANK! “That's what Tanks, DO!”
