Mini, but not.
Did you simply love the iPad Mini's fresh, clean, compact styling but were put off by its smaller screen? Fear not, since Apple has essentially taken the Mini and made it bigger. (I know, who would've thought?) The chamfered edges, the reduction of the side bezels, and the incredible weight reduction - all while multiplying its technical performance over the last generation of iPads. Apple is full of wizards. There, I said it.
Refresh highlights include:
- Size/Weight reduction. "1 pound, 28% lighter, 20% thinner, [and] 24% less volume."
- An A7 processor as well as M7 coprocessor for "pulling data from the accelerometer, gyroscope, and compass." Expect blazing performance.
- 10-hour battery life.
- Improved Wi-Fi performance thanks to "two antennas and MIMO (multiple-input multiple-output) technology."
- Slick styling, first coined with the original iPad Mini.
All in all, we're looking FORWARD to getting our hands on this bad-boy come November 1st! (Maybe we should start waiting in line now?)
